Launched in 2018, the convenience app engages more than 20,000 retailers – sharing brand content, category information and offers. We started with a small base in London, and have grown to support stores from all over the UK – from the heart of the city centres, to the most remote locations.

Our users are a mix of symbol groups and pure independents, all using the app to engage with brands at a time that suits them.

Our research told us that retailers wanted to be able to understand brand NPD, ranging and display advice and category news at a time that was suitable for them…. so *shopt allows users to dip in and out of this content at their own pace. The offers and content featured on the app influence the retailer shopping lists – which they purchase via their normal route to market.

In 2020 we are expanding our app to allow an ordering facility, making the app even more directly influential to brand sales. We are also working with key wholesalers groups around how we connect them with their members in a more effective way.
